  • “Slower...crystal bowl sessions help me calm my mind and destress"

    As a beginner Yogi, I was a little nervous to attend class but Cathy does such an amazing job at making her classes accessible and enjoyable for Yogis of all levels. She’s great at breaking down movements and easing us into the final pose instead of just telling us what to do. Her classes are always super informative because she explains how each pose or exercise impacts specific parts of our body, and as a beginner, this level of detail is so helpful. She has a range of classes from very calming and relaxing classes to the more intense power flows - so it’s really perfect for everyone! I especially like her slower classes paired together with her crystal bowl sessions - it helps me calm my mind and destress from life in general. If you’re looking for a yoga teacher who’s extra friendly and helpful then would 10/10 recommend! Especially if you’re a beginner like me!

    Cathy’s class was my first ever attempt at anything yoga related besides standing on a 2 inch yoga mat while WFH during SG circuit breaker. If you’re a real beginner like I was, then this is probably one of the most comfortable places to give it a shot.

    I have to say, Cathy’s guidance and instruction really gave me a whole new perspective on how various types of yoga can be beneficial for so many different facets in life.

    She has an innate ability to see, hear, and feel the differing energies of each person in the class and motivates us to make a movement or flow that is very challenging seem like something very achievable.

    Step by step her calming presence really helped me unlock some calm and zen (as well as buckets of sweat) during a very hectic time in life.

    I really liked the fun post-session social aspect where we get to mingle and know some current and past classmates over some food and bubbly! If that is something you’re looking for, then this could really be for you. Bring a friend if you feel shy!

    Rigid, tight, and stiff were my typical feelings after my office job. Taking Cathy’s yoga classes has allowed me to break the routine, feel better mentally and physically while be more flexible one cm at a time. Being new to yoga, your patience and guidance made the class enjoyable!

She makes yoga accessible for all levels - seasoned yogis and newbies alike, and offers unique perspectives and verbal cues to help break down, or go even deeper into a pose. What I like most is her ability to make you feel seen and welcome the moment you enter her class! I leave every class feeling energised mentally and physically. Her passion for yin and sound healing is clear, and I love how she brings her learnings from them into our practices. Thank you for the sweat, new muscles, and all the laughter!

    Cathy is an amazing and versatile instructor who is fully dedicated to helping her students. I truly appreciate how she caters to a wide range of experience levels in all her classes, from beginners to advanced practitioners, and I always leave her classes feeling more centred and relaxed.

    I particularly enjoy her yin yang classes, where she starts off with an energetic yoga flow and encourages us to try challenging poses (which are achievable with the preparatory poses she guides us through). She then leads us into a grounding yin and sound bath meditation with her calming voice.

    Cathy is always generous with her knowledge, but what stands out for me is her genuine kindness and empathy towards the different needs and energies of all her students. Highly recommend her classes!
